The Artful Engineer

I blame Vodka & Cranberry and Heineken for the great time I had over the weekend. After work Friday I visited the Perimeter Mall and bought a couple of pairs of awesome shoes and some pretty nice hats. On my way out I stopped and bought St. Vincent's release Marry Me. The sound is almost like Regina Spektor but still a great purchase nonetheless. Now,Now, Jesus Saves,I Spend, Human Races, and Your Lips Are Red are standout tracks. Elliott Smith's New Moon is a good listen also if you like Cary Brothers or Josh Radin. Just a few of New Moon's songs that shine are Thirteen, Ms. Misery, Either,Or, Georgia,Georgia, Half Right, and Angel In The Snow

Saturday night was great fun and I remember 70% of it. I recall the attractive Smirnoff bottle and the matching cranberry juice and how pretty it was in the glass. I remember Heiniken not tasting that bad and the numerous women I categorized as 'my type'. However, I don't recall the ending or who drove me home. That probably won't happen again in the near future. I'll return to sake and Scrabble after dinner from now forth.

Sunday, after retrieving my automobile, was a trip to Best Buy for a recipe for rehabilitation - DVDs. Because of indecisiveness I bought Gattica, Casino Royale, The Last Kiss, The Fountain and High Tension. I only had the chance to watch The Last Kiss and it was just as good as the first time. The night winds down with Modest Mouse's Good News For People Who Like Bad News and chocolate.

At The Drive-In's Relationship of Command is now my morning commute soundtrack. I love Enfilade, Quarantined, and One Armed Scissor

adios
