The Subtle Shades Of Meaning
Sunday morning I overcame my fear of horses and went to the Midtown Art Cinema for a showing of 3:10 To Yuma. It was either that or King of Kong but I'll save the latter for an outing with friends. I was suprised by the size of the audience and comforted by the fact that I wasn't alone in being alone. I guess I could rephrase that and say I wasn't the only person sitting by himself. The film was okay but there were areas that needed improvement, I'll leave it at that...it was a western.
Our hearts are numb. I wonder how long it was before the involuntary reaction of the beats became...insensible. So goes the repititiousness of our...excuse me, most of your lives. You will become numb and invisible. I saw a red moon this morning. I pushed work to the limit. I made other's days better. I listened to great music. You're only half-born, you've got to stay alive.
